Nice sakyants. Thanks for sharing.

I rather to be the bad guy here. But an advice for those who have the urge to sak.

Other than the need to follow closely to the restrictions of sakyant, and given the "sales talk" on the benefit of sakyant, there are somethings that are not mentioned.

1) You should find out more details of the person who is going to sak you. PS: not from the person who brought the sakyant master to malaysia or singapore, an independent check is better. Some qns: Is this person really famous in Thailand? Don't just get an Acharn to sak you without finding out more.

2) Having sakyant on your body is a bit dangerous. Why? because if some restrictions are violated, your body become an empty shell. Sakyant is likened to making your whole body a bucha. So if the spiritual being in you has left, it becomes an open door to any "entities".

3) I have known of a few people who have sakyants on them, and their life isn't much better than previously. Some even got worst. So does it really help? If you think it helps, why don't you wear an amulet instead? because if you don't like the amulet, you can change it. Once sak, it's permanent. It's not a tattoo where you can laser away and poof no more. For sakyant is a "key" to open your spiritual body. Thus, even oil sakyant is not recommended.

4) Proper Thai girls (what i known) prefer guys with no sakyants or tattoo. Why? Because if you are working in a bank (as a banker), which is quite a safe place, why do you need sakyant? unless you are working in underworld business, and if so, they don't feel safe with the person.

No offence to those who have sak. Just hope that those who have not started, can think first. Even the famous LP Koon of Wat Ban Rai only sak very very few times a year when he was younger. He has to choose a proper event (date) to do it. And he has even spoken to his disciples (novice monks who ordained for a short while) and told them not to get sakyant.
