以下是2010年财政预算案的重点：

-2010年财政预算案总额1915亿令吉，行政开支1383亿令吉（72.2%），发展开支: 532亿令吉（27.8%）

所得税及公积金：

-降低个人所得税1%，从目前的27%减至26%。

-个人所得税的最高回扣额将从8000令吉增至9000令吉

-2010年至2012年订购宽频可获豁免个人所得税，每年最高500令吉

-在依斯干达计划工作的员工，可享有15%的个人所得税征收率，比一般人的26%所得税还低

-即日起允许将每个月最低8%的公积金缴纳额提升至11%。自2011年1月1日起，雇员的公积金缴纳额一律定11%

-成立由雇员公积金局管理的“一个马来西亚退休计划”，让没有退休金或储蓄公积金的自雇人士，收入非固定者如德士业者、小贩、农夫及渔夫进行储蓄

-公务员每3年获得5000令吉免息贷款购买电脑

发展拨款及津贴

-重组汽油补贴计划，2010年初实行一个汽油补贴管理系统，确保惠及真正受惠的人士

-拨出148亿令吉拨款来提升公共保健领域设施，包括医院及诊疗所，并提升居銮、莎阿南、亚罗牙、丹杯及百乐一带的医院

-拨出1000万令吉，在50个城市地区，设立社区诊疗所服务，即一个马来西亚诊疗所，提供基本保健服务，如发烧、咳嗽及感冒

-拨款37亿令吉以配购现代化的设施，提升人民生活环境的安全及打击罪案

-国能公司耗资50亿令吉改善供电设备

-拨款8亿9900万令吉发展旅游业，着重于经济旅游、农业旅游、教育旅游及保健旅游

-拨出60亿令吉发展农业

-拨出20亿令吉，作为农民及渔民的各种津贴与援助

房地税、AP、商品及服务税：

-明年1月1日起，征收5%的售卖房地产税

-汽车入口准证（AP）明年起每张一律征收1万令吉

-商品及服务税的研究工作近乎完成，以鉴定这项税务对人民带来的影响。如果政府决定实行商品及服务税，它将用来替代现有的销售税及服务税，而贫穷人士将可豁免缴付税务

-贷款3亿5000万令吉给中小型企业

教育领域：

-拨款300亿令吉给国内中小学，政府资助宗教学校、华小、淡米尔学校及教会学校，届时将有550万名学生受惠

-在2010年起，获得第一等荣誉学位的学生可以把高等教育基金贷款（PTPTN）转换为奖学金

-派发国家奖学金给30位成绩优秀的精英学生，到海外深造

-国家铁路局将在2010年1月1日起，为13岁或以上的学生提供50%的长途车票回扣。

新投资：

-政府宣布成立“1个马来西亚”发展公司，沙地公司投资15亿令吉予“1个马来西亚”发展公司

-成立总值15亿令吉的基金以推广绿色科技
